Baptism at holy family
Arrangements for infant baptism must be made in advance:
- Please call Mary Boyle at 952.999.4884 or email [email protected] to schedule your child's baptism.
- Baptisms are usually scheduled following the 11 AM Mass on Sunday or the 8 AM Mass on Saturday. The date and time need to be confirmed with the church office.
- If it is your first baby to be baptized, or you have never had a Baptismal class, the parish office will help you schedule a preliminary baptism meeting which must be completed at least one week prior to the baptism.

At least one week prior to the baptism, please provide:1) Birth Certificate Photocopy

Infant/Child Baptism
“Parents are obliged to see that their infants are baptized within the first few weeks.” (Code of Canon Law #867)
It is increasingly common to see the baptism of newborn infants delayed for weeks and even months in order to facilitate travel schedules of grandparents or godparents or to find a “convenient” time. This trend is contrary to Church law and diminishes the spiritual importance of baptism in favor of emphasizing the earthly celebration with family and friends. We encourage you to claim for your infant the dignity of a child of God in baptism at the earliest possible moment. -
